Boston Americans Girls Tryouts for 2023-24

For the 2023-24 season, the Boston Americans will be offering full season teams at the U10, U12 and U14 levels,  U16-U19. The U10 – U14 teams will be playing and training out of Hockeytown USA, Kasabuski and the Malden Valley Forum. The Boston American teams led by renowned Girls Hockey Director, Seth Goodrich, are members of the Elite 9 Girls Hockey League.

The members of Elite 9 are afforded the unique opportunity to also play against co-ed teams in the Valley Hockey League in addition to their E9 girls schedules. The Boston Americans girls program provides unique training and competition that no other girls program in New England offers, including the ability to compete in the Valley Hockey League against boys teams from across Massachusetts. "The weekly competition against boys teams is a key part of our girls development" says Goodrich, "it forces our girls to make decisions a little bit quicker and play a little tougher. The results of these co-ed games are obvious in our Mass & USA rankings against teams that only play against girls teams."

The Valley Hockey will be a key component of the Boston American Girls training and competitive development. A large majority of NCAA DI commits from Massachusetts have honed their skills and developed into elite players by playing against the top boys teams in the VHL. This opportunity to compete in the VHL is only available to a select few girls programs in New England, including the Jr. Warriors and Boston Americans.
